The defence was held scheduled at

The defence will consisted of a 45 minute presentation by me, followed by questions from the 3 opponents, and the questions from the general audience. The opponents then withdrew to deliberate for about 5 minutes, and returned with an accepted "verdict". On the committee was Chris Fabjan (CERN), Wolfgang Kühn (Gießen), and Peter Hansen (NBI).
