Jens Bang

(1929-2009) Jens Bang was "docent" (professor) emeritus in physics at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen (NBIfAFG, KU).

Brief CV:
Born 1929, Cand.scient. from 1955, mag.scient. 1956, "lektor" (associate professor) in physics in 1970, docent in 1988; CERN-fellow 1958-59, Nordita-fellow 1959-60; at Niels Bohr Institute in the whole period, except 1963: OIAI, Dubna, Russia, and 1977 ISN, Grenoble, Fr., as professor. From 1998 professor emeritus at NBI, and remained active here, and became associated with the Center for the Philosophy of Nature and Science Studies. Jens Bang died in 2009.

(1) few-body description of many-body systems.
(2) electronic excitations in collisions.
(3) Philosophical discussion on the interpretation of quantum mechanics.
