Interests:

  • I am generally interested in the philosophy and sociology of science, with special focus on the philosophy of mathematics. In my Ph.D.-project, I try to develop a naturalistic description of mathematics, that is a description that rejects the idea of mathematics as a special area of human knowledge. Instead, mathematics is understood as a human activity, that is an activity carried out by particular biological creatures in possession of certain cognitive and bodily resources, placed in certain physical and cultural contexts and pursuing certain interests.
  • Apart from that, I have an old, but not too rusty love for artificial intelligence and cute little robots…
