Interests:
Science and technology should be used to improve the human condition. This is not always happening today. These two statements constitute the basis of my research activities, and calls for a scholarly treatment of questions like:

  • What forces are governing the techno-scientific development?
  • How can individuals promote a human-friendly use of science?
  • What qualities must future techno-scientific experts possess?
  • Can these traits be developed via university science and engineering education?
