Associate professor at the Niels Bohr Institute and Nano-Science Center, leader of the nanophysics section and vice-chairman of the Nano-Science Center. The institute belongs to the Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen. Co-founder of inXell bionics Aps and Hytronics A/S.

Brief CV

Research:

Solid state physics and nanoscience, with focus on experimental investigations of mesoscopic quantum phenomena in nanostructures, mainly based on carbon nanotubes and semiconductor nanowires. Nano-electronics, low temperature techniques, sensitive electrical measurements, sensor technology. For recent references, see the publications list or recent theses from the Copenhagen Nanotube Team (CNT).
It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes in "A scandal in Bohemia" by Conan Doyle)
