Research interests:

The quantum nature of light and atoms aswell as in the interactions between the two. Specifically I work with cold atoms and shot noise limited interferometric measurement thereof, with the aim to produce spin squeezing through a quantum non-demolition (QND) measurement.

You may see my resume which also contains a list of my publications that should hopefully reflect my research.

In August 2001 I started as a masters student in the Quantum Optics Laboratory, when this was still situated at the Institute of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Aarhus. I continued my thesis work after the move to the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen and graduated in Aug. 2004. Follow the link to view my master's thesis. As of November 2004 I have been working on my PhD project. The group is lead by Prof. Eugene Polzik and is a part of QUANTOP - Danish National Research Foundation, Center for Quantum Optics.
