The last days before departing had build up a surreal expectation... finally, we were departing for the foreign lands we had dreamed of for so long. I woke up with a funny feeling in my stomach, as if the thought of departing had finally caught up with me. My family came to pick me up in Classensgade at 12:30, and we left for the airport. The flights were eventless, except that we touched down in Yerevan on the way from London to Teheran to refuel, which delayed us for an hour. We did not sleep well (or at all).
