Probing chemical evolution across cosmic time with quasar and gamma-ray burst afterglow spectroscopy

I work broadly in observational cosmology and galaxy evolution—using GRB afterglows, damped Lyα absorbers (DLAs), and multi-wavelength data to constrain the build-up of gas, metals, dust, and star formation in the early Universe.
