Teaching

Teaching is one of my favourite aspects of doing a PhD. I have TAed in classes from classical mechanics and linear algebra, to quantum mechanics and dynamical systems, and have enjoyed every minute of every TA-ship I have had.

In 2016 I helped Jacob Kirkensgaard redesign and lecture a first-year course (an introduction to linear algebra and mechanics). We tried incorporating more student-teacher interaction and online teaching material into the course, and spend less time on traditional lectures. The student really liked the result, and awarded us the Niels Bohr Insitute JMK teaching award that year. This is an experience that taught me a lot, and inspires me to try doing my best when I teach.

I like to produce videos and tailored exercises when I teach, and some of these will be available on this website.
